You told me to copy right?

So if you ever have a hankering to copy a disney movie and use it's songs for yourself good luck avoiding the disney police. Ok so there is no such thing as Disney police but there is a strick law protecting anything they have put out. It's called the copyright law.

It doesn't just protect disney though. It protects any idea that a person wants to protect. Now you have actually gain a copyright for your idea but it is completely possible.

As a teacher this has vast implications on what you can use and what you can't in the classroom. For example if you are a computer teacher you aren't going to be able to take a microsoft office package and copy it on to all your computers in the lab because that would be considered a violation of the copywrite laws. You would instead have to buy a copy for each computer that is owned and needs the programs. Bottom line, be carefull what you use in your classroom no matter who you are.

  1. The Disney police! That's great. :) Copyright is a good idea; the problem is that the fact that it is necessary is the same fact that makes it not work- we're fallen and sinful. If we weren't, it would work so well and would not have to be this complicated...but if we weren't, then we wouldn't need it in the first place.
